There is a
reason FAT is in our body. That's because our body
needs it to survive. Processed low fat foods
actually have ingredients in them, like cholesterol and
trans fat free oils that are actually worse for your
body than plain old butter. Some European
countries, like Sweden, are now advocating the nutritive
values butter and rich milk products for promoting good
health. So , low fat only? Not a good choice.

Work?
Most quick weight loss diet plans promote
eating a low calorie diet. Yes, you will lose at first,
but then all comes to a stop. Starving yourself to get
slim is not the idea because you will at one point give
in to the temptation and binge yourself back to a weight
heavier than the one you started with. You have not
addressed your body's cravings and metabolic balance. If
anything, you have made your body more out of balance
than it was before you started. So losing weight by
starving yourself will only cause your body to burn
fewer calories each day as protection against this
metabolic imbalance.
Did you know that on
some low carb programs, eating an apple or at a
restaurant is forbidden at the beginning? Feeling
miserable is not an answer to weight loss.

There was a time when low
carbohydrate diets hit the scene and everybody was
raving about the results. One drawback of the low carb
diet is that as a quick weight loss diet plan, it is quite hard to follow for the average
person. Carbohydrates are where our body
transforms normal sugars into energy and if you restrict
this process, you will experience less energy.

These plans usually have you eating
specific prepared foods or tracking every bit of food
with a chart of daily or weekly allowances, not to
mention the extra expense of a weekly membership and or
prepared food fee. As a quick weight loss diet plan, it
may be successful but the savvy consumer of today is also
aware of how it is important to avoid processed foods
containing genetically modified ingredients such as soy,
corn and wheat and sugar substitutes such as Sucralose
and Aspartame. Where is your assurance that these
products are nutrient rich and free of such ingredients?
